Lyndon B. Johnson was the 36th president of the united states, and a former senator. He has done many things such as signing the Civil Rights Act on July 2, 1964. In 1957, Johnson would help get the “N****R bill” passed, known to most as the Civil Rights Act of 1957. Fifty years ago, Lyndon Baines Johnson delivered one of the most powerful pieces of oratory in presidential history. He also joined MLK in the Civil Rights Movement that helped African Americans and their civil rights.
